1. Owner agrees to pay the current rate for daycare in effect on the date the dog(s) listed below is (are) checked into Bark + Boarding. Prices are subject to change at any time, without notice. Owner shall remain liable for the entire outstanding daycare fee as well as other fees and charges incurred in the care and maintenance of the dog(s) placed in daycare.

2. Owner acknowledges that there are risks inherent in keeping dogs in daycare settings, including risks to the health and wellbeing of the dog(s) as well as risks that the dog(s) may harm people, dogs or other property. The Owner agrees to be solely responsible for any and all acts or behaviors of the dog(s) while in the care of Bark + Boarding, including but not limited to any acts that damage or in any way harm any person, other dogs or property of Bark + Boarding or any daycare customer.

3. Owner agrees to indemnify and hold Bark + Boarding., its employees, agents, staff and representatives harmless against any and all claims and liability incurred by reason of an Owner’s breach of this agreement and any acts of the dog(s) and shall pay all costs and reasonable attorneys’ fees incurred. Owner agrees to pay all costs and reasonable attorneys’ fees incurred for any efforts to collect amounts owed to Bark + Boarding by the owner under this agreement.

4. Bark + Boarding reserves the right to refuse any dog.

5. Bark + Boarding agrees to exercise reasonable care in caring for the dog(s), and to keep the premises sanitary and properly enclosed. All dogs are handled or cared for by Bark + Boarding staff without liability on Bark + Boarding’s part for loss or damage from disease, theft, fire, death, escape, injury or harm to persons, other pet(s) or property by said pet(s), or from other unavoidable causes, due diligence and care having been exercised. Owner agrees that Bark + Boarding’s liability shall in no event exceed the lesser of the current tangible value of a pet of the same breed or the sum of $2500.00 per animal.

6. Should any dog(s) become ill or, in Bark + Boarding’s sole determination, need medical attention of any kind, Bark + Boarding reserves the right to administer aid and/or to use any available veterinarian. Bark + Boarding shall not be responsible or otherwise liable for any services provided by any other person. Owner agrees to pay all costs and other amounts incurred. In Bark + Boarding’s sole discretion, such amounts shall be paid by owner to either Bark + Boarding or the persons or entities providing such services.

7. Owner agrees that during the dog(s) time in daycare, the dog(s) may be videotaped, photographed, referred to or recorded in any form by Bark + Boarding or other persons approved by Bark + Boarding.

8. Bark + Boarding shall be the exclusive owner to the results and all proceeds of such tapings, photography, reference and recording with the rights, throughout the world, an unlimited number of times in perpetuity, to copyright, to use and to license to others in any manner.

9. Owner agrees that their dog(s) may be used in any form of promotion by Bark + Boarding without notice, approval or payment to the owner.

B+B Holiday Policy
A $20 holiday surcharge will be applied to all boarding stays on recognized holidays and may also apply to days surrounding the recognized holiday. Each dog incurs a Holiday surcharge for Holiday boarding stays. There is no Holiday surcharge on daycare.

Boarding during heightened holidays may require a $50 non-refundable holiday deposit (per dog) which will be collected approximately 10 days prior to the holiday.

BOARDING REQUIREMENTS

1. All dogs are required to be up to date on Distemper, Bordatella, & Canine Influenza vaccines.

2. All dogs over 4 months are required to be up to date on Rabies vaccine.

3. Owner is responsible for providing updated vaccination information as it becomes available.

4. Dogs displaying any of the following symptoms should NOT attend daycare/boarding
   Coughing
   Vomiting
   Sneezing/Snotty Nose
   Excessive Diarrhea
   Any contagious illness

5. Owner agrees that dog(s) arriving with fleas, ticks or other infestations shall be sent home.

DAYCARE REQUIREMENTS

Our goal is to ensure that each dog has a stress free and fun experience while staying with us. If your dog hasn't been to our daycare or boarding in the past 6 months to a year, we do require that your dog come and spend the day for at least a half day of daycare (at least 6 hours) to get re-acclimated to our environment (fees apply).

If it has been over a year since we’ve seen your dog for daycare or boarding we do require a new Evaluation.

Owner agrees that the dog(s) will be picked up by the owner or a pre- approved owner’s agent by closing. There is a 5 minute grace period after closing. After that, a $10 late pick-up fee is applied for pick-ups between 6-15 minutes after closing and a $20 late pick-up fee for pick-ups 16-30 minutes after closing. Any dogs still here 30 minutes after closing will be boarded.

In case of an emergency which would delay owner’s arrival, owner shall promptly notify Bark + Boarding of such a delay. If Bark + Boarding is unable to provide for the dog(s)’ care during such a delay, owner shall immediately make alternate arrangements for the dog(s)’ pick-up.

Bark + Boarding typically follows the Federal Government weather-related closings, but service closings are decided on a case-by-case basis. Clients will be notified via email of any cancellations or delays.

Bark + Boarding will make a determination no later than 10pm the night before inclement weather is predicted as to whether our office will either have a delayed opening or be closed for daycare and retail services. Dogs already in boarding will still receive full care, however dogs scheduled to be dropped off or picked up in the event of closing or delayed opening will need to be rescheduled.

A Play + Train session may be canceled up until 9am the day of the session without penalty. Cancellations made after 9am will be charged the full price of the session.

Our full-service grooming for dogs is like a full spa treatment! A full groom includes a shampoo bath, coat condition, blow dry & brush out, hair cut (if applicable), nail clip, ear cleaning, gland expression as well any additional services you may need.

We offer on-site grooming 7 days a week! Our grooming services are very popular so appointments are necessary. When scheduling your appointment, please be sure to leave time for a short consultation with one of our groomers regarding your cut specifics and any concerns (behavior issues, ailments to be aware of). If you are dropping your dog off early for daycare or boarding, our groomer may call you to discuss the grooming at the appointment time.
